Even though our winery has not been running for centuries, we have already received many national and international awards.
The “Rio delle Viole” riserva (Cabernet Sauvignon Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa D.O.C.) has received the Diploma di Gran Menzione at the Vinitaly Concorso Enologico Internazionale 3 times: 2004 vintage, 2005 vintage and 2007 vintage; while the 2004 vintage was also a finalist at the 2007 Concorso Lions.
The 2008 vintage received the “Menzione di Eccellenza” in the Guida Emilia Romagna da Bere e da Mangiare coordinated by the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers dell’Emilia Romagna, achieving a score of 89/100.
The Rio delle Viole 2007 vintage received the “Medaglia d’Oro” at the 2016 edition of MUNDUS VINI.
Our “Brina d’Estate” sparkling wine (Spumante Brut Spergola Colli di Scandiano e Canossa D.O.P.) received the “Menzione di Eccellenza” at the 2017/2018 edition of the “Concorso Emilia Romagna da Bere e da Mangiare” with a score of 90/100.
The Vigna Ritrovata 2011 vintage (Spergola Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa D.O.C.) received the “Menzione di Eccellenza” in the 2012 edition of the Guida Emilia Romagna da Bere e da Mangiare by the A.I.S. of Emilia Romagna.
Our 2010 Settefilari, a Lambrusco Emilia I.G.P. at the time, received the Diploma di Merito at the “Concorso Enologico Matilde di Canossa – Terre di Lambrusco”.
Our Lambrusco Rosè Spumante Brut ‘Rosa del Borgo’ 2016 was honoured with a Diploma di Merito at the 2017 edition of the “Concorso Enologico Matilde di Canossa – Terre di Lambrusco”.
Tenuta di Aljano won a “Gran Menzione” at the 2014 Vinitaly Concorso Enologico Internazionale with two wines:
Rio delle Viole 2009, Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva, for the category “PDO and PGI still red wines 5 to 6 years from harvest”.
Settefilari Lambrusco Reggiano D.O.P., for the category “PDO semi-sparkling red wines”.
